BSA Troop 1444

About Us

Boy Scout Troop #1444

Our Boy Scout troop is very active throughout the year. Scouts participate in monthly camping trips 11 months out of the year, merit badge activities, and rank advancement opportunities. Each summer, the scouts have the opportunity to travel to a week long camp. Here, scouts have the opportunity to sharpen their outdoor skills, earn additional merit badges and enjoy the camaraderie of their fellow scouts. This is a much anticipated yearly camping trip.

Troop #1444 is a parent sponsored, parent funded unit. The success of our troop depends on adult volunteers who work behind the scenes to make it all happen. Troop #1444 prides itself on a strong, active and involved troop and parent committee who handle the business side of running the troop.

We require an adult from each family to be a registered committee member and attend a high percentage of monthly parent informational meetings. Each registered parent is expected to complete a Youth Protection Agreement and keep it current.

Meetings are held each Tuesday - Contact us for more information
